About Canadian International School Kunshan
Founded in 2012, CISK began as a school offering the Ontario curriculum and has evolved into a fully authorized IB Continuum School. We provide the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) to students aged 3 to 18. Located in Kunshan, China, our school serves a diverse international student body representing more than 24 nationalities.

Role Overview: IB MYP Science Teacher
As an IB MYP Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging science lessons that align with IB standards. Your role involves encouraging scientific inquiry, supporting students’ conceptual understanding, and integrating cross-disciplinary approaches to deepen learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement MYP-aligned science units and assessments
- Facilitate hands-on experiments and real-world science applications
- Foster an inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum experience
- Maintain consistent communication with parents and learning support staff
- Contribute actively to school life and professional learning communities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or recognized certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, B.Ed.)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in an IB or international school
- Strong knowledge of IB MYP Science framework and assessment practices
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proficient in English (both spoken and written)
- Tech-savvy and confident in using digital tools to enhance learning
- Proactive, reflective, and committed to ongoing professional development
