Role Overview

The IB MYP Science Teacher will design and deliver engaging, hands-on science lessons aligned with the MYP framework. You will encourage inquiry, problem-solving, and real-world applications of science, while supporting students to develop a lifelong passion for scientific discovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver science lessons that meet IB MYP standards.
• Create an inquiry-driven classroom environment that promotes experimentation and collaboration.
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to guide growth.
• Work with colleagues to strengthen the science curriculum across grade levels.
• Integrate digital tools and innovative teaching strategies into daily practice.
• Encourage student participation in science projects, fairs, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB school.
• Strong knowledge of the IB MYP Science curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural school community.
