Role Overview: IB PYP English Teacher
The successful candidate will design and teach engaging English language lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework. You will help students develop communication, reading, and writing skills while fostering inquiry, collaboration, and creativity in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement high-quality English instruction aligned with IB PYP principles
- Differentiate teaching strategies to support a diverse group of learners
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and inquiry-driven learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress using formative and summative tools
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the wider school community

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, English, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an IB setting
- Familiarity with international or bilingual school environments
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- High level of proficiency in English (spoken and written)
