Role Overview: IB PYP Science Teacher
The IB PYP Science Teacher will inspire young learners through hands-on experiments, inquiry-driven lessons, and cross-disciplinary projects. You will guide students to explore the natural world and develop scientific thinking in alignment with the IB PYP framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging science lessons based on IB PYP standards
- Develop inquiry-based units that integrate science with other subjects
- Encourage students to question, investigate, and reflect on scientific concepts
- Use diverse assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience in primary-level science instruction
- Familiarity with IB PYP or other international curricula preferred
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to professional growth
- Ability to use educational technology effectively in the classroom
