Position: IBDP English Teacher
As an IBDP English Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging literature and language instruction in line with the IB Diploma Programme. You will guide students through critical thinking, literary analysis, and expressive writing while helping them meet rigorous academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic, student-centered English instruction for the IB Diploma Programme
- Plan lessons that develop analytical reading, academic writing, and discussion skills
- Use assessments to track progress and differentiate learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to align instruction and support student success
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching IBDP or a similar high school English curriculum
- Familiarity with IB teaching philosophies and assessment strategies
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong work ethic, initiative, and dedication to student achievement
