Role Overview
The IBDP Mathematics Teacher will teach high school mathematics courses within the IB Diploma Programme. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging lessons that challenge students to think critically, apply mathematical concepts, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IBDP Mathematics courses with a focus on student-centered learning
- Develop lessons aligned with IB standards and assessment practices
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the mathematics curriculum across grade levels
- Support extracurricular programs and school initiatives that enhance student learning
- Engage with parents and guardians to support student achievement and well-being
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, ideally within IBDP or international curricula
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in integrating technology into mathematics instruction
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
- Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural international school community
