Role: IBDP Mathematics Teacher

As an IBDP Mathematics Teacher, you will guide senior students through the challenging IBDP curriculum, preparing them for success in higher education and beyond. Your instruction will emphasize conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and real-world application.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inquiry-based IBDP Mathematics lessons
• Plan and implement curriculum aligned with IB standards and learning outcomes
• Use a range of formative and summative assessments to monitor and support student progress
• Collaborate with department colleagues and contribute to interdisciplinary initiatives
• Support students through the Internal Assessment (IA) process and exam preparation
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding academic performance
• Participate in school events, professional learning communities, and IB training
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching high school mathematics, preferably in an IB or international school context
• Strong understanding of the IBDP curriculum and assessment frameworks
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across departments and contribute to whole-school initiatives
• Passion for innovative and student-centered teaching practices
