Role Overview: IBMYP PE Teacher
As an IBMYP Physical Education Teacher, you will plan and implement engaging PE lessons aligned with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). The role involves fostering physical literacy, encouraging teamwork, and helping students build healthy lifestyle habits that last a lifetime.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging physical education classes for middle school students
- Implement the IB MYP PE curriculum with clarity and consistency
- Promote holistic wellness, including fitness, health education, and sportsmanship
- Track student progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary learning projects
- Organize extracurricular sports events and team activities
- Communicate regularly with parents and contribute to the school community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience
- Strong understanding of international curricula, especially IB MYP
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- High level of English fluency in both spoken and written forms
- Technologically proficient and innovative in instructional delivery
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
