Key Responsibilities

• Teach ICT classes to secondary students using the Cambridge IGCSE framework
• Develop lesson plans that align with the curriculum and engage students in practical, real-world applications of technology
• Use various technologies to enhance teaching and learning
• Encourage students to become independent thinkers and responsible digital citizens
• Support school-wide IT initiatives and contribute to interdisciplinary projects
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience, ideally in an IGCSE setting
• Strong understanding of Cambridge ICT content and assessment standards
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Proficiency in integrating digital tools into lesson delivery
• Self-motivated, independent, and committed to student success
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse school environment
