Role Overview: ICT Teacher
As an ICT Teacher, you will deliver dynamic lessons that introduce students to coding, digital tools, information systems, cybersecurity principles, and emerging technologies. You will guide students in developing strong problem-solving skills while integrating technology into real-life applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons across middle and high school levels
- Integrate technology into student learning to promote digital fluency
- Develop curriculum aligned with international standards and learning goals
- Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Promote digital citizenship and ethical use of technology
- Collaborate with other departments on interdisciplinary tech projects
- Support students in ICT-related extracurricular activities and clubs
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of ICT teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
- Solid understanding of international curricula such as IB, Cambridge, or equivalent
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong communication, classroom management, and technology integration skills
- Passion for digital learning and commitment to continuous professional development
- Ability to inspire students and foster curiosity in computing and emerging tech
- Comfortable using educational platforms and tools to enhance instruction
