Role Summary: ICT Teacher
As an ICT Teacher at JCS, you will deliver engaging lessons in computer science, digital citizenship, and applied technology. You will introduce students to coding, data management, media production, and other key ICT concepts. This role requires you to lead a tech-rich classroom environment while fostering student creativity, independence, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching ICT or computer science
- Strong knowledge of educational technology and current ICT trends
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Experience using digital tools to enhance teaching and learning
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse school community
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional development
