Role Overview: ICT Teacher
As the ICT Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and IGCSE levels. You will foster digital fluency, computational thinking, and responsible digital citizenship.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering ICT lessons based on the Cambridge or UK National Curriculum
- Preparing students for ICT components of the IGCSE examinations
- Encouraging creativity, innovation, and critical thinking through technology
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining a well-managed, inclusive, and technology-rich classroom
- Contributing to school-wide digital initiatives and technology integration
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 4 years of proven teaching experience in ICT
- Familiarity with the Cambridge and/or UK National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for working with students in an international school setting
- Fluency in spoken and written English
