ICT Teacher for the French Section

This school is based in Brussels, Belgium and is looking for an ICT Teacher for the French Section.

EEBI is part of the European Schools System, providing education for children whose parents work for European Institutions. Our school community consists of 3,400 pupils of 60 different nationalities and more than 400 members of staff coming from the various Member States and beyond. Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Proficiency in French equivalent to that of an educated native speaker
• A qualified, enthusiastic and experienced teacher of ICT (Information Communication Technology) up to the Baccalaureate (14-18 years old)
• Recent secondary school teaching experience
• Proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice and experience of working in a team
• Experience teaching ICT in French
• Ability to teach mixed ability classes using effective differentiation
• A high level of professionalism and care for the well-being of children
• Willing to contribute to the life of the secondary school

Preference will be given to a teacher who :

• has teaching experience in a European or international school
• integrates new technologies as a pedagogical tool
• has the ability to also teach Mathematics
• is committed to teaching from the lower secondary cycle through to the Baccalaureate cycle
