Computing Teacher Role

As a Computing Teacher at GFS, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging computing lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Teach a range of computing topics, including basic IT skills, coding, programming languages, and computer science principles.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as a Computing Teacher at GFS, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Python, Java, or Scratch.
• Experience delivering computing lessons at GCSE and A-Level.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students in the fast-evolving tech landscape.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms to enhance student engagement.
