Role Overview: IGCSE Business Studies Teacher
You will deliver the Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies curriculum to students in lower and upper secondary school. The role involves creating interactive, real-world learning experiences that connect business concepts to current global trends and student interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IGCSE Business Studies in alignment with the Cambridge curriculum
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans focused on business theory, finance, and entrepreneurship
- Prepare students for IGCSE assessments through regular evaluations and feedback
- Track student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with peers to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives
- Maintain open communication with parents and contribute to the school’s community events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Business Studies, preferably at the IGCSE level
- Strong knowledge of Cambridge international curricula
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to integrate technology into the teaching process
- Passion for working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
