Role Overview: IGCSE Chemistry Teacher

As an IGCSE Chemistry Teacher, you will deliver high-quality science instruction using the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. You will challenge students to explore chemical principles, think critically, and apply scientific understanding to real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, concept-driven Chemistry lessons
• Differentiate instruction to support a range of learning styles
• Incorporate laboratory experiments and practical activities
• Prepare students for IGCSE Chemistry assessments with academic rigor
• Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning
• Participate in co-curricular activities and school science events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related science field
• Valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level
• Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum preferred
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Strong commitment to international education and student development
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital learning tools
