This school is based in Manama, Bahrain and is looking for an IGCSE Economics Teacher.

Position Overview:
Multinational School Bahrain is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated IGCSE Economics Teacher to inspire and educate our students. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the Cambridge/British Curriculum, a passion for economics, and a commitment to fostering academic excellence in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IGCSE Economics in alignment with the Cambridge/British Curriculum.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs.
• Maintain meticulous records of student progress, assessments, and intervention strategies.
• Ensure curriculum continuity across phases and actively participate in collaborative planning.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment, addressing individual challenges in behavior and learning.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and create a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Actively participate in professional development and school initiatives.
• Uphold and support the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Knowledge:

• Up-to-date knowledge of the Cambridge/British Curriculum.
• Understanding of effective classroom management and the importance of school ethos.

Skills and Abilities:

• Commitment to curriculum continuity and effective planning.
• Strong record-keeping skills for assessment and intervention.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience teaching IGCSE Economics.
• Proven track record of successful teaching or effective teaching placements.
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Economics-related field.
• Qualified teaching certification with attested qualifications through Quadrabay Company.
• Evidence of active engagement in continuing professional development (CPD).
