Role: IGCSE ICT & Computer Science Teacher

As an IGCSE ICT & Computer Science Teacher at AIS, you will:

• Teach ICT and Computer Science to students in the upper primary and secondary levels
• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IGCSE curriculum and school standards
• Guide students through practical tasks, coding challenges, and project-based learning
• Prepare students for IGCSE exams through effective instruction and targeted review strategies
• Foster digital citizenship and responsible use of technology in the learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across other subject areas
• Contribute to the wider school community through clubs, events, or interdisciplinary projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ICT Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience teaching ICT or Computer Science, preferably at IGCSE level
• Strong content knowledge and a passion for student success
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Commitment to continuous professional development and cultural adaptability
