Role Overview

As an IGCSE ICT Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that encourage students to explore and apply key concepts in information and communication technology. You will prepare learners for the IGCSE examinations while helping them develop practical skills in coding, digital tools, online collaboration, and responsible technology use.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach IGCSE ICT in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Design engaging and interactive lessons that promote problem-solving and digital creativity.
• Prepare students for academic success in internal and external assessments.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools.
• Strong subject knowledge of ICT and familiarity with IGCSE requirements.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for teaching in a diverse international school community.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
