Role Overview: IGCSE Mathematics Teacher
The successful candidate will teach lower and upper secondary Mathematics, including IGCSE-level content. You will deliver engaging lessons, support students in problem-solving, and foster analytical and logical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics according to the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus
- Plan lessons that encourage conceptual understanding and application
- Prepare students for internal assessments and IGCSE examinations
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
- Support curriculum development and department planning
- Contribute to a positive school culture and participate in school events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching credential (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics at the IGCSE or secondary level
- Strong understanding of international and Cambridge curricula
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to motivate and challenge diverse learners
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Committed to lifelong learning and professional development
