Role Overview: IGCSE Physics Teacher
As an IGCSE Physics Teacher, you will deliver high-quality science instruction using the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. You will challenge students to explore scientific concepts, think analytically, and apply their knowledge to real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-driven Physics lessons
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs
- Integrate experiments and hands-on learning into the classroom
- Prepare students for IGCSE assessments with academic rigor
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum delivery
- Support school-wide science initiatives and co-curricular activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a related science field
- Valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Physics at the secondary level
- Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum preferred
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong commitment to international education and student success
