OVERVIEW – PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Inclusive Education Teacher works as part of the Student Support Services team to support individual and small groups of students with specialized learning needs. This role involves implementing tailored interventions, accommodations, and instructional strategies to foster student success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide individual and small-group instruction to support students with learning needs. • Develop and monitor Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) for students.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt instructional strategies and assessments.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate student progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators about student progress.
• Provide professional development for staff on differentiation and inclusive practices.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Understanding of special education strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
• Strong skills in assessment, data collection, and analysis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and accommodations for students.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in international school settings is an advantage.
