Role Overview: International Primary ICT Teacher
As an International Primary ICT Teacher, you will teach foundational computer science and digital literacy to primary school students. Your role involves integrating ICT into the broader curriculum, promoting computational thinking, and supporting students as they explore technology through inquiry-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging ICT lessons that align with international primary curricula
- Teach students key digital skills including coding, multimedia creation, and safe internet use
- Integrate technology across subject areas to enhance student learning outcomes
- Design and implement innovative lesson plans with clear learning objectives
- Foster a collaborative and student-centered learning environment
- Maintain regular communication with parents and contribute to school-wide events and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in international or bilingual schools
- Strong knowledge of primary ICT curriculum frameworks and digital tools for education
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement strategies
- Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to participate in curriculum development and professional learning
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
