Role: International Secondary Humanities Teacher
As a Secondary Humanities Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography, and other related subjects
- Prepare students for success in KS3 and IGCSE Humanities examinations
- Encourage critical thinking, global awareness, and inquiry-based learning
- Support students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the Humanities curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, History, Geography, or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or international equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, with a strong background in KS3 and IGCSE Humanities
- Deep understanding of the British National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for teaching in a diverse international school environment
- High level of proficiency in written and spoken English
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and best teaching practices
