Role Overview: Junior High School Physics Teacher

The Junior HS Physics Teacher will deliver high-quality physics instruction to middle school students. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, supporting individual learning needs, and contributing to a collaborative teaching community that values academic rigor and curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach physics to junior high students using bilingual or international curricula
• Design and implement lessons that promote scientific inquiry and problem-solving
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction based on learning needs
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enhance interdisciplinary learning
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Participate in school events, staff development programs, and parent meetings
• Integrate technology to support innovative and interactive teaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in bilingual or international settings
• Strong command of physics content and pedagogical strategies
• Experience with international curricula (IGCSE, IB, AP, etc.) is a plus
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
