Role Overview: Juniors & Kindergarten Music Teacher
We are looking for a creative educator with a strong background in early years and primary music instruction. You will deliver engaging music lessons that nurture students’ love of rhythm, melody, movement, and self-expression. The role includes planning school performances, supporting music assemblies, and collaborating with colleagues on cross-curricular projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach music to students in kindergarten and junior levels
- Design age-appropriate music activities that encourage creativity and participation
- Prepare students for school concerts and performances
- Foster musical literacy, listening skills, and performance confidence
- Collaborate with early years and primary teachers to integrate music into other subject areas
- Support the wider school music program, including events and extracurricular clubs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Education or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience, ideally in international or bilingual settings
- Familiarity with international or British curricula
- Excellent musical ability, with strong vocal and/or instrumental skills
- High-level proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with young learners in a diverse, multicultural school community
