Role Overview

The K-12 Art Teacher will design and deliver engaging art lessons that inspire students across all grade levels. The successful candidate will encourage creativity, develop artistic skills, and provide students with opportunities to explore various mediums of visual arts. In addition, the teacher will integrate technology, organize exhibitions, and contribute to the school’s extracurricular and cultural activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach art classes across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, inquiry-based art lessons
• Introduce students to a variety of techniques, tools, and artistic styles
• Encourage creative expression and critical thinking through visual arts
• Organize student art shows, displays, and exhibitions
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects
• Provide constructive feedback and support individual student growth
• Contribute to the school’s mission of faith-integrated education

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school
• Strong knowledge of art instruction across multiple grade levels
• Familiarity with international or American curricula
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Commitment to professional growth and collaboration
• Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, Christian international school community
