Role: Key Stage Two Learning Assistant
As a Key Stage Two Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ academic progress, social development, and overall well-being. You will work closely with teachers, students, and parents, ensuring that each child receives individualized attention and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, supporting students in Key Stage Two (KS2).
- Work with small groups and individual students to reinforce learning objectives and provide personalized support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student confidence and participation.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop differentiated learning strategies that meet diverse student needs.
- Assist in the preparation of educational materials and classroom resources.
- Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and help implement effective intervention strategies.
- Promote student well-being and a growth mindset, encouraging curiosity and resilience.
- Support school events, extracurricular activities, and student engagement programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Cache Level 3 Certificate – Preferred
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting, ideally in Key Stage Two (KS2).
- A strong passion for inclusive education and supporting students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- A commitment to professional growth, teamwork, and innovative teaching practices.
- Experience in British curriculum schools is preferred but not required.
