Role Overview: Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher
As a Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that spark creativity and build foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills. You will create a warm and engaging classroom where students feel safe, supported, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver early childhood lessons aligned with the IPC or British curriculum
- Promote language development, play-based learning, and inquiry skills
- Foster positive classroom routines and a nurturing environment
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialist teachers
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress
- Participate in school events, professional development, and curriculum planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience with the British curriculum or IPC preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Tech-savvy and creative in lesson delivery
- Passionate about multicultural education and early years development
