About the Role
As a KS2 Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in nurturing students academically, socially, and emotionally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the English National Curriculum and, ideally, experience with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Using innovative teaching methods and educational technologies to enhance learning
- Fostering a supportive classroom culture that promotes student participation and respect
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan lessons and school-wide initiatives
- Building strong relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members
- Actively participating in professional development and school events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience, preferably in KS2
- Proficiency in the English National Curriculum and IPC preferred
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to student success
