Role Overview
The KS3 English Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British Curriculum. This educator will focus on building students’ literacy, comprehension, and communication skills while fostering a love of reading and writing. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and ensure student success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in Key Stage 3
- Deep knowledge of the British Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Strong commitment to professional development
- Ability to integrate technology to support learning
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and in teams
- Enthusiasm for international education and diverse school communities
