Position: Lead Teacher (Boys’ Section)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the academic performance of all male teachers in Grades 5-9.
• Ensure Grades 5 and 6 teachers align with the IB-PYP framework, working closely with the PYP Coordinator.
• Support Grades 7-9 teachers in implementing American curriculum standards while preparing for MYP adoption in 2025-2026.
• Guide teachers in lesson planning, instructional delivery, and assessment strategies.
• Foster professional growth and collaboration among male teachers.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with female lead teachers to ensure a unified educational approach.
• Report directly to the Director of Academics and Operations.
• Promote a student-centered, inquiry-based learning environment that encourages academic excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of IB-PYP and American curriculum standards.
• A passion for mentoring teachers and driving curriculum innovation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
