Role: Lead Teacher – Humanities (Grade 6-12)
As a Lead Teacher in Humanities, you will:
- Develop and implement high-quality curriculum plans aligned with California and Common Core Standards
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills in students
- Guide and mentor other Humanities teachers to ensure excellence in instruction
- Support students in subjects such as History, Geography, and Social Studies
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and school leadership to enhance student outcomes
- Monitor academic performance and adapt teaching methods for optimal results
- Engage students through interactive and student-centered learning experiences
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, English, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Specialization in a relevant subject area (preferred)
- Valid MOE Teaching License (required)
- IELTS score of 7.5 (required)
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting
- Strong ability to mentor teachers and improve instructional strategies
- Experience teaching American curriculum (preferred)
