Role: Learning Support Teacher

As a Learning Support Teacher at IGBIS, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs in a range of subjects.
• Developing and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs) to support students’ academic progress.
• Collaborating closely with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and create inclusive learning environments.
• Monitoring student progress and providing ongoing feedback to both students and parents.
• Offering assistance during lessons, ensuring that students with learning challenges are engaged and supported.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages respect and collaboration.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Teaching, or a related field.
• A valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of proven experience in a learning support or special education role.
• Experience working within the IB Curriculum is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural school environment.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
