Role Overview: Learning Support Teacher
The Learning Support Teacher will work closely with classroom teachers to identify and support students with diverse learning needs. You will design and implement individualized learning plans, adapting instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. This role demands strong collaboration skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in a learning support or special education role
- Comprehensive knowledge of learning support techniques and strategies
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to working within a culturally diverse international school environment
- Strong dedication to ongoing professional development and educational growth
- High proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and proactively enrich curriculum and school initiatives
- Skilled in using modern educational technology to improve teaching and learning
