Role Overview
The Lower Elementary Teacher will inspire and guide students through their critical years of exploration and discovery. The role requires an educator who can nurture independence, encourage inquiry, and support both academic and personal growth while fostering strong relationships with students and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons using Montessori principles and materials.
- Support bilingual learning in English and Chinese environments.
- Guide students in developing independence, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure student success.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity.
- Participate actively in school initiatives and community activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or Montessori setting.
- Familiarity with Montessori and international curricula.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for working in a diverse, bilingual community.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
