Role Overview: Lower Primary Teacher

As a Lower Primary Teacher, you will create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that supports young students in developing core literacy, numeracy, and inquiry skills. You will foster a love for learning and build foundational competencies that support each child’s social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver creative and age-appropriate lessons aligned with international standards
• Foster students’ curiosity, confidence, and independence through active learning
• Use a range of instructional strategies and formative assessments to support progress
• Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers to support student growth
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary activities
• Participate in school events, professional development, and community-building initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in early years or primary education
• Familiarity with international or Singaporean curricula is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to integrate educational technology into daily teaching
