Role Overview: Lower Secondary Science Teacher
We are looking for an experienced science teacher who can bring the subject to life for students in lower secondary levels. You will be expected to deliver lessons across core scientific disciplines (biology, chemistry, and physics) while fostering curiosity and analytical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver comprehensive science lessons aligned with international curricula
- Create hands-on experiments and classroom activities to enhance understanding
- Track student progress and provide targeted feedback
- Maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching practices
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, events, and staff meetings
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience at the lower secondary level
- In-depth knowledge of international curricula such as Cambridge or IGCSE
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Strong commitment to student development and academic growth
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Comfortable integrating technology into teaching and learning
