Role: Mathematics Specialist (KS3/4)
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students in Years 7 to 11, following the UK National Curriculum.
- Prepare students for Year 12 and the transition to A Level Mathematics.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback that drives improvement.
- Support students in developing strong numeracy skills and mathematical understanding.
- Participate actively in school events, extracurricular activities, and academic competitions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 within a UK curriculum school.
- Strong understanding of A Level Mathematics requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students.
- A commitment to fostering a student-centered learning environment that promotes curiosity and confidence.
