Role Overview: Mathematics Teacher (Cambridge IGCSE)
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will teach secondary-level mathematics following the Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics syllabus. You will implement student-centered learning strategies, encourage mathematical thinking, and guide learners through complex problem-solving processes. Your lessons should build strong foundational skills while preparing students for excellent academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IGCSE Mathematics using engaging, concept-based instruction
- Prepare and deliver lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and personalized feedback
- Foster a growth mindset and love for learning mathematics
- Incorporate technology to support interactive and visual learning
- Participate in curriculum planning and academic events
- Collaborate with other subject teachers to enhance cross-disciplinary connections

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field
- Valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with the Cambridge IGCSE framework
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proven ability to use technology in the classroom effectively
