Role Overview: IGCSE Mathematics Teacher

The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for teaching Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics to secondary-level students. You will create an engaging learning environment where students develop analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a solid foundation in key mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics in alignment with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum
• Design lessons that encourage inquiry, logical reasoning, and real-world applications
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet different learning needs
• Monitor student progress and provide continuous, constructive feedback
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure curriculum consistency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Mathematics, preferably IGCSE-level
• Familiarity with international curricula such as the Cambridge International curriculum
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning
