Role Overview
As a Mathematics Teacher (Prep School), you will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that follow the UK National Curriculum while adapting to the diverse needs of international students. You will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving, ensuring that students develop a strong mathematical foundation for secondary education.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic mathematics lessons for Prep School students.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters academic achievement.
- Differentiate teaching strategies to support students with varying learning needs.
- Assess student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular learning opportunities.
- Participate in extracurricular programs that enrich student experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and international school settings.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and innovation in teaching.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
