Role Overview: Mathematics Teacher

As a Mathematics Teacher at KKIS, you will deliver engaging lessons across relevant grade levels, support student development in mathematical reasoning, and foster a love for numbers and problem-solving. You will contribute to curriculum planning and collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent instructional practices aligned with international standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics in accordance with the Cambridge International Curriculum
• Plan and implement differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
• Encourage mathematical thinking through real-life applications and inquiry-based tasks
• Assess and track student progress using formative and summative methods
• Provide feedback and communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders
• Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Valid teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of Mathematics teaching experience
• Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum or similar international frameworks
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Enthusiasm for fostering student growth in an international setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative academic team
