Role Overview
We are looking for a Maths/Add Maths/Physics Teacher who brings deep subject knowledge, enthusiasm, and a student-focused approach to teaching. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the IGCSE curriculum, fostering critical thinking, and helping students excel in STEM subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Maths, Additional Maths, and Physics across appropriate year levels
- Prepare engaging and rigorous IGCSE-aligned lesson plans
- Monitor student progress and adapt instruction for individual learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular learning
- Support extracurricular activities related to Mathematics and Science
- Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and academic excellence
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent (QTS, PGCE, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum for Maths and Physics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, independent, and enthusiastic about innovation in education
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents
