Role Overview
As a Middle School English Teacher, you will guide students in developing strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will create engaging lessons that encourage students to explore literature, improve communication, and think critically. Collaboration with colleagues, active participation in school initiatives, and ongoing professional growth are central to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic English lessons aligned with international standards
- Develop students’ reading comprehension, writing fluency, and critical analysis skills
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages inquiry and creativity
- Use technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to support interdisciplinary projects
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools
- Strong understanding of middle school pedagogy and English curricula
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse and multicultural environment
- Commitment to professional development and collaborative teaching
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
