Role Overview
The Middle School English Teacher will teach English language arts, literature, and writing to students in Grades 6–8. This role involves designing interactive lessons, promoting literacy and creativity, and equipping students with essential communication skills. Teachers also collaborate with colleagues, support school programs, and integrate Christian values into classroom instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English language arts aligned with the U.S. curriculum
- Plan engaging lessons that build reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Encourage students to think critically and express themselves effectively
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school initiatives
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in middle school or an international setting
- Strong knowledge of middle school English curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
