Role Overview
As a Middle School Math Teacher, you will engage students in critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical application of mathematical concepts. You will design engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners while preparing students for future academic success. Working in close collaboration with colleagues, you will help build a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the American curriculum
- Develop and implement effective assessments to monitor student progress
- Differentiate instruction to support learners at all levels
- Integrate technology and real-world applications into the math curriculum
- Foster a growth mindset and a love for mathematics in students
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Collaborate with teaching teams to support cross-curricular learning and school initiatives
- Participate in professional development and school-wide events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, state license, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of middle school teaching experience
- Familiarity with international education systems and curricula
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Commitment to professional growth and a collaborative teaching culture
