Role: Middle School MYP Math & Science Teacher

As an MYP Math & Science Teacher, you will create a stimulating, engaging, and inquiry-driven learning environment for middle school students (MYP 1-3). Your role will involve:

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering a coherent, integrated, and inquiry-based curriculum aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
• Teaching both Mathematics and Science in a way that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary connections.
• Encouraging hands-on learning, experimentation, and STEM-based approaches to enhance student engagement.
• Designing interactive lessons that promote curiosity, creativity, and real-world applications.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of students.
• Assessing student progress and adapting teaching strategies to ensure academic growth.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance learning experiences and integrate STEM education effectively.
• Engaging with parents and the school community to support holistic student development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Experience in teaching IB MYP Math and Science (Grades 6-8) or recent training in IB MYP methodologies.
• Strong understanding of STEM education, interdisciplinary learning, and inquiry-based teaching.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for innovative, student-centered teaching.
