Role Overview: Middle School Science Teacher
The Middle School Science Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that promote inquiry, experimentation, and a strong conceptual understanding of key scientific principles. You will play a crucial role in helping students explore the natural world while developing essential scientific skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement science lessons aligned with international standards
- Create hands-on learning experiences through labs and projects
- Support student growth through regular assessments and feedback
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration in the classroom
- Participate in interdisciplinary planning and school-wide initiatives
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues
- Encourage participation in science fairs, clubs, and enrichment activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Education
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and student engagement strategies
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Passion for cross-cultural education and professional development
