This school is based in Istanbul, Turkey and is looking for a Foreign Language Teacher. 

Çevre Koleji is seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreign Language Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality language instruction, fostering a love of languages among students, and contributing to the overall educational experience at our school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction: Teach foreign language courses (such as English, German, French, or Spanish) to students at various proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced.
• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum standards and goals.
• Assessment: Evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and exams, and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and supports diverse learning needs.
• Cultural Awareness: Integrate cultural components into language instruction to enhance students’ understanding and appreciation of the language being taught.
• Extracurricular Activities: Organize and participate in language-related extracurricular activities, such as language clubs, competitions, and cultural events.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest teaching methods and educational technologies, and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support student learning and contribute to the school community.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Teaching certification in the relevant language.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching the foreign language to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
• Proficiency in the foreign language being taught, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Knowledge of educational technology and its application in the classroom.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
